Although Trout are plentiful in New Zealand they are wily and cunning and always a challenge to catch. The angler will be required to cast accurately, wear appropriate clothing and (with the help of your guide) use the correct fly for the moment.

The local high country stream fishing season opens on the 1st October and runs through to through to the 30th of May. Lake Wakatipu and the Kawarau River are open all year round.

We are fully concessioned by the department of Conservation and both the County, and Regional Council's. The New Zealand Maritime Safety Authority surveys our Launches. The New Zealand Diplomatic Protection Bureau has sanctioned our operation and our personnel.
